Galleri Svea can be found on Köpmangatan 4 in Gamla stan, the oldest street in Stockholm.
It is located on a very popular pedestrian route between Österlånggatan and Stortorget.
From inside the Gallery's large display window, you have a fantastic view of the picturesque Själagårdsgatan and Brända tomten, which is a square with Old Town's largest and most beautiful chestnut tree.
Outside the doorway you can see both St. Göran and the dragon, Stortorget and Strömmen and if you walk a hundred meters down Österlånggatan you will come to the Royal Castle.
Galleri Svea was started in 2008 by Anna and Gert Rosenbäck and over the years has provided the opportunity for all types of artists to exhibit their art in a beautiful bright room with large display windows, in which you can look out over the beautiful alleys of the Old Town where there is a constant flow of tourists from all over the world, all year round.
In 2016, Berit, Rimma and Suzanne took over Galleri Svea and continued to run one of Gamla Stan's most beautiful galleries.
Over the years, they phased out one by one, which gave us an opportunity to continue offering exhibitors a beautiful and popular gallery in the middle of Old Town.
We will continue to operate the gallery with the same high quality and good service as before.
We hope for a visit from you soon, either as an exhibitor or visitor!
